Sunday 9th October will see changes to services on the BLUE and YELLOW routes of Stagecoach Supertram because of emergency water works in Hillsborough. For the whole day all trams on these routes will terminate at Shalesmoor with Supertram tickets valid on local bus services.
Services running on Sunday 9th October will be:
- BLUE – Halfway to Shalesmoor
- PURPLE – Cathedral to Herdings Park
- YELLOW – Meadowhall to Shalesmoor
- TRAM-TRAIN – Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate
Anyone wishing to start or continue their journeys beyond Shalesmoor is able to use their Supertram ticket on local bus services but it is likely that some will be on diversion because of the Yorkshire Water works.
Sunday 9th October also sees the introduction of a new Supertram timetable which doesn’t change frequencies although some tram times will be altered.
