Trams &: Stagecoach Supertram 399 204 & bus

Its time for another edition of “Trams &” and we head to Sheffield again for a location previously featured in this series in the city centre.

This is Castle Square tramstop, one of three stops on the Supertram network which is served by all four routes on the Supertram network (the others being Fitzalan Square and Cathedral). In this photo – dated 10th September 2021 – we see one of the Citylink tram-trains, 399 204, heading towards Cathedral where it will terminate with a Tram-Train service from Rotherham Parkgate.

Meanwhile, waiting at the traffic lights to cross the tramway and continue its journey along Angel Street is First South Yorkshire Wright Streetdeck 35132. Its operating on route 120 to Crystal Peaks where it will once again come across Supertram of course. Note the destination on 120 is also asking people to wear face masks on board.
