Out and About: A trip to Beamish

Today’s “Out and About” is in the northeast as we head out to Beamish to see a couple of the trams in service in the middle of April.

How good is to see queues of people wanting to take a ride on a tram again? Sheffield 264 stands at the Entrance stop and with the tram already looking pretty full a queue of visitors to the museum wait for a tram to arrive to take them around the circuit.

Blackpool 31 heads towards the Entrance from Pockerley with lots of happy faces on the open top deck and just a few empty seats on the lower deck. (Both Photographs by Trevor Hall, 14th April 2022)
