Good news from Manchester as punctuality and reliability increase

The latest data released by Transport for Greater Manchester has shown that both punctuality and reliability on Manchester Metrolink has increased in the latest quarter. Covering the period 12th December 2021 to 5th March 2022 punctuality has now reached 88.9% whilst reliability is at 97.6%.

The quarterly stats include three four weekly periods – periods 10, 11 and 12 in the Metrolink reporting year. The statistics give details of each period both overall and on a line-by-line basis. In this release it shows that period 11 was the highest performing period for nearly a year and although things have gone down slightly again since they are still higher than they have been for much of the last year and hopefully that will be a trend that continues.
