Its time for another edition of “Out and About” and the system for this latest foray into some topical images of trams in the British Isles is the West Midlands Metro.
The fourth of the eight original Urbos 100 trams to enter service was 42 which carried its first passengers on Saturday 19th December. Just a couple of weeks later and we catch up with the tram again at Wolverhampton St George’s. Its just arrived with a service from Birmingham and now waits ahead of returning south.
This is Wednesbury Great Western Street where the tram pauses.
