In this edition of “Stop by Stop” we are again in Nottingham as we feature the last outbound stop on the Hyson Green loop.
The tram departs from Beaconsfield Street and as we have been for some time we are still on Noel Street. That changes though as we swing to the left onto Gladstone Street and then shortly after that we curve onto Shipstone Street. And that’s where we come to our next stop. Visitors to Nottingham will have noticed that some trams have Shipstone Street as their destination with this being the last stop before the entrance to the tram depot. The tram stop here is pretty familiar being a single side platform and has shelters, ticket machines, information as we have very, very used to. Its located adjacent to a children’s play area.
