For the majority of this series we are “Out and About” taking a look at modern trams running but we have a bit of a change today as we feature heritage trams running in Blackpool.
Balloon 723 received this vinyl wrap livery for The Magical Express Tour back in November – the first full vinyl wrap advert on heritage tram for over 10 years. The Balloon Car (which previously had a coat of 1980s green and cream) is seen just arriving at Pleasure Beach with a run of The Magical Express Tour.
723 sits on Pleasure Beach loop.
Meanwhile down at Rigby Road Depot – or Tramtown if you prefer – and we take a look at Brush 631, Balloon 717, Rebuilt Balloon 707 and Coronation 663 waiting for their next duties, which for three of them will be a lot sooner than the other! (All Photographs by blackpool_trams, 18th December 2021)
