Stagecoach Supertram services running on the Purple route between Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 26th January will be subject to change as a result of essential works being undertaken by Sheffield City Council. The Purple route will continue to run throughout this period but will not be running all the way to Herdings Park (except for the weekend in the middle) with different terminating points at different times.
Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st January: Trams will run to and from Birley Lane with no trams serving either Herdings Leighton Road or Herdings Park
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January: Normal service will run to Herdings Park
Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th January: Trams will run to Herdings Leighton Road with no service to Herdings Park.
Tram tickets can be used on First bus services in the Herdings Park area throughout this work. A normal service should resume no later than Thursday 27th January.
