Our third and final photographic article for you on Christmas Day is “Out and About” and we are out on Blackpool Prom where we see some single-line working in operation because of welding work at North Pier back at the start of the month.
The orange barrier on the right is blocking the normal southbound track at Wilton Parade as Flexity2 017 heads by with a northbound service to Fleetwood Ferry.
017 has had time to go all the way to Fleetwood and back as we see it back at Wilton Parade with a southbound service to Starr Gate using the usual northbound track.
Moving up the line to Cabin and 008 stands at the southbound platform. Although not obvious from this view the tram will be heading back to Starr Gate having already reversed using the crossover north of the stop. (All Photographs by Tony Armitage, 1st December 2021)
