NET 30 day tickets now available online

The 30 day season ticket for travel on Nottingham Express Transit is now available to purchase online following the success of online Student Tickets. Ordering tickets online is said to be a quick and convenient way to pay for tram travel with the tickets posted out within three days.

The tickets can be ordered directly from the Nottingham Express Transit website at http://www.thetram.net with customers just needing to enter their details and a start date for the ticket. Payments can be made by Debit or Credit card.

Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, said: “The online payment system has been introduced in response to feedback from customers who want to buy their tickets in advance, wherever they are. In addition to receiving the tickets by post, they will also have the option of collecting them in person from our new city centre shop which is due to open this summer.”

The 30 day ticket costs £45 for adults and £22.50 for under 16s.

At the same time as the 30 day ticket is launched online there have been revisions made to the Student Tickets which have been available online for a while. A three month version is now available for £90 and a 12 month option can be purchased for £200 with any start date now possible (previously they were restricted to term dates).

It is planned that further online tickets will be launched later in the year.
