There is now no external commercial advertising on any West Midlands Metro tram with 32 having lost its adverts for Brindleyplace. The tram was spotted for the first time at the start of September minus the yellow adverts leaving just 19 and 22 in their special West Midlands Metro promotional adverts.
32 had received the Brindleyplace adverts back in October 2020, the second advert on the tram with it having previously advertised OLA from September 2019 to October 2020.
This is now the first time since February 2019 that there has been no commercial advertising on any tram when 18 and 21 received their ads for Just Eat. It doesn’t mean that it’s a completely uniform fleet of blue fleet livery through as 19 carries designs for the M is for Metro campaign with 22 advertising the Metro Academy.
