Lockdown Walks: Stagecoach Supertram 120

And so after 15 months we come to what we hope will be the final “Lockdown Walks”. It seems appropriate that we end it in Sheffield which has been one of the mainstays of this seriesand we include a tram which is always popular with the photographers.

There have been a total of 188 editions of “Lockdown Walks” which was originally introduced at the height of the first lockdown when photographers went on their daily exercise and managed to capture images of trams in service on their home tramways. Throughout this series we have had 56 editions from Sheffield and 56 from Edinburgh with the remainder split between the West Midlands Metro, Manchester Metrolink and Blackpool Tramway. A huge thank you to everyone who has sent us images for the series – it may have finished now but please continue to send us topical images if you can as we will still be featuring up-to-date photos regularly.
