Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 260

Today “Lockdown Walks” is off to Edinburgh again as we head off out of the city centre.

The stop at Balgreen on the Edinburgh Trams system is located on the site of Balgreen Halt which was built by the LNER in 1934 on the Corstorphine branch. Before then there was also a temporary halt located here built by the North British Railway in 1908 to serve the nearby Scottish National Exhibition which took place in nearby Saughton Park.
