Lockdown Walks: Stagecoach Supertram 123 & 109

In this edition of “Lockdown Walks” we are back into Sheffield for a view taken at Hillsborough.

You could say that a lot of getting a photo “just right” is a luck of timing (as well as the obvious photographic skills of course!). Whether that be when two trams pass just at the right moment or if someone decides to walk across your path just at the wrong time. And so it was in the below photo which shows the trams going in each direction amongst the traffic showing traditional on street running.

This is Hillsborough – the two trams are at the opposite platforms – and shows 109 heading off to Meadowhall just as 123 goes the other way on the Yellow route to Middlewood. (Photograph by Stuart Cooke, 9th May 2021)
