More job opportunities on the West Midlands Metro

With the West Midlands Metro network currently undergoing a major expansion a number of new engineering job opportunities are being advertised with six vacancies looking to be filled.

Midland Metro Limited are looking to fill vacancies for an Electrical Engineer, Rail Services Engineer, Maintenance Team Leader, Infrastructure Maintenance Planner, Infrastructure Technician and Reliability Technician.

Metro’s Head of HR, Claire Scrimshire, said: “s we plan for the opening of extensions to Wolverhampton Railway Station and Edgbaston later this year, we’re looking to recruit talented engineers for a variety of roles requiring differing levels of experience. The opening of the extensions are part of a wider £1.3 billion investment programme by West Midlands Combined Authority and Transport for West Midlands that will see further expansion in the years ahead, making this the ideal time to join our dynamic and committed team.”
