Throughout our regular updates from the former site of the Wilko’s store in Blackpool we’ve seen things being demolished and the area getting prepared for future construction. But now we can finally start to see some progress on the actual construction phase. Tony Armitage with the photos.
As we saw in a previous update Steconfer track frames had recently been delivered to the site and they are now starting to be used with it looking like track may start to be laid in the near future. There does obviously remain a fair amount of work to be done before this can happen but it is the biggest progress here since Wilko’s was finally demolished.
