In this latest edition of “Stop by Stop” we come to Middle Street as we continue our way along Nottingham Express Transit’s line out to Toton Lane.
Almost as soon as we depart from the previous stop at University Boulevard we cross the major junction of the A6005 and become a street tramway again running along Lower Road, Fletcher Road and finally Middle Street which is where the find the next stop. This stop is another with an island platform and still has all the usual furniture etc. including shelters, ticket machines and passenger information displays.
This is a view of the island platform at Middle Street with the ticket machine in the centre and the passenger information displays either side of it.
209 is just approaching Middle Street here with a service to Hucknall.
