NET launch Trust the Tram campaign

As more people start to get out and about with the easing of Covid restrictions, Nottingham Express Transit have launched a Trust the Tram campaign to give reassurance to prospective passengers that the network remains safe to use.

Measures implemented on the network have included social distancing and compulsory (unless exempt) mask wearing along with enhanced cleaning both on board the trams and at stops.

Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Marketing Manager, said: “We’re pleased to be running a full timetable service, meaning passengers have a fast, frequent and reliable way of getting from A to B in and around Nottingham. We’ve been happy to provide a service for key workers throughout the pandemic and can reassure passengers as they return to work or come back to the city for other reasons that we have put a number of arrangements in place to ensure their journey is Covid safe. We want everyone to know they can Trust the Tram as a safe and reliable way of travelling in and around Nottingham, and we’ll be making extra improvements in the coming six months to make it even better than ever.”

With tickets available through the NETGO! App there is no need for passengers to use ticket machines to purchase tickets and making it easy to make contactless purchases. On top of this NET have launched a tram rewards scheme to help support the local economy. And there will be a number of further improvements coming down the line over the next six months to make the “customer experience even better”.
