Service frequency increased on West Midlands Metro again

After a month and a bit running at a reduced frequency on a temporary timetable, West Midlands Metro services have returned to the more regular timetable as the next stage of the English roadmap out of Coronavirus restrictions was hit on Monday 12th April.

Trams are now running up to every 7 minutes Monday to Fridays and up to every 10 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays between Library and Wolverhampton St George’s.

Its presumed that the timetable will be similar to the one which is published on the West Midlands Metro website (https://westmidlandsmetro.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/WMM-Timetable-A3-Poster-October_2020_Both-directions.pdf) which was previously in use from 11th October 2020. However, this gives service frequencies of up to every 6 minutes at peak times Monday to Friday and up to every 8 minutes on Saturdays so there may be some minor alterations.
