In Pictures: More from Blackpool

In this latest look at the ongoing trackworks in Blackpool we feature some more track welding taking place at Gynn Square as well as taking a look at another piece of equipment which is being used during the works. Tony Armitage is our man on the ground again as he continues to get his lockdown exercise!

The welding work at Gynn Square was taking place just before North Promenade becomes Queens Promenade. Again with the tent to cover the area being attended to this is the scene here.

Looking south now with this piece of equipment having been unloaded to assist with the track welding.

Up at Cabin and, although not in use, this ballast dropper has been delivered. Presumably there will be some new ballast laid on the section north of Cabin the coming days. Note the vehicle has rail wheels as well as the standard tyres.
