There has been a further reduction in service on the Stagecoach Supertram network and this time it’s the Tram-Train service which will be affected with a 50% reduction in frequency to just one an hour. No other changes have been made to the conventional tram routes for now.
The Tram-Train service from Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate will now run hourly throughout the day with some later services cancelled all together.
On Mondays to Saturdays first and last tram times are:
First Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate – 0527
First Rotherham Parkgate to Cathedral – 0559
Last Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate – 2027
Last Rotherham Parkgate to Cathedral – 2059
And on Sundays:
First Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate – 0830
First Rotherham Parkgate to Cathedral – 0902
Last Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate – 1930
Last Rotherham Parkgate to Cathedral – 2002
The Blue and Yellow routes continue to run up to every 15 minutes (Monday to Saturday daytimes, every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday early mornings and every 30 minutes after 1900 Mondays to Saturdays and all day Sundays) with the Purple route running every half an hour throughout the week.
