Stagecoach Supertram have been quick off the mark in announcing their plans for the Easter weekend which will see a revised service in operation to reflect changes in demand for trams and to allow some track renewal work to take place.
On both Good Friday 6th April and Easter Saturday 7th April a Saturday timetable will be in operation before engineering work takes place for the remainder of the weekend. This means that on Easter Sunday 8th April and Easter Monday 9th April an amended Sunday timetable will be in operation. The Blue and Purple routes will be affected by the work which will take place in the Gleadless Townend area. Buses will replace trams from
Fitzalan Square to Gleadless Townend, Halfway and Herdings Park.
