Its been but a brief stay in Amsterdam but we have time for just one more March 1988 image with a look at another of the LHB 9G trams in service.
In this photo the tram we see is 796 at Centraal Station on a route 5 service and carrying a red and white livery. This tram is one of the 25 LHB 9G trams with no. 796 built in November 1979 and remaining in service until 2008. Scrapping came fairly quickly with the scrapman ending the tram’s days in March 2008.
