Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 270

Its time to head to Edinburgh once more for a photo taken on a “Lockdown Walk”.

We are on Princes Street for this image as we see 270 heading westbound – and out of the city centre – “Not In Service”. In the background we can see the former R W Forsyth department store which was closed in around 1981. It has since been converted for use by Topshop/Topman whilst the upper levels have been in use as a Travelodge.

270 is another tram to have lost advertising vinyls in recent months and is seen running in plain fleet livery in this 18th April 2020 shot. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood, 18th April 2020)
