It’s more a case of poor photography skills in this latest edition of “So Nearly, Not Quite”, as there is a tram there somewhere we promise!
You may just be able to make-out Blackpool Boat 605 in this shot taken at North Pier on 3rd September 2005 but with darkness having fallen some poor skills with the ol’ camera mean it is very difficult to make out the tram with its dark livery (this was the Wartime Green and Cream style so mainly dark green) and without even the headlights (it being a going-away shot) to provide assistance its come out as a dark mess. At least we know the location by the illuminated Metropole sign. Ah, never mind, better luck next time!
