Picture in Time: Stagecoach Supertram 120

Continuing our series of photos from Sheffield, in this edition of “Picture in Time” we move forward to 2002.

Over the years a number of trams have carried advertising liveries with one of those being shown here on 120. Advertising the Meadowhall Shopping Centre – the terminus of the Yellow route and previously the Purple route at times – by the time of this photo being taken in 2002 the system was being operated by Stagecoach and was commercially known as Stagecoach Supertram. 120 retains the roller blinds and it is operating a Yellow route service to Middlewood as it climbs up towards Cathedral from Castle Square.
