At a time when the COVID-19 pandemic is rarely out of the news we wanted to encourage all readers of British Trams Online to follow current government guidance when thinking about going out, not only for trams but also in general. Whilst we love to see your contributions of what is going on with trams across the country we just ask that you take care when doing so and keep up-to-date with all the latest advice.

    Indeed. Given that so many other leisure activities are either closing down or the public are being advised not to visit them, one wonders if/when the transport museums, heritage lines and heritage tours will be (hopefully temporarily) closed.
