Continuing our photographic series taking a look at heritage trams which ran during the year 2019 we feature Blackpool Boat 227.
Having returned to service last in 2018, 2019 was 227’s first full year back in service after a rewire and overhaul and as is always the case with the Boat Cars when the sun shines they are out and proving very popular.
The first photo today shows 227 running in not quite so beautiful conditions on 24th May 2019 at Bispham with the tram just waiting at the northbound heritage stop.
Photo number two sees 227 sitting on Pleasure Beach loop in the darkness of the illuminations as it waits to operate its second tour of the night on 29th September 2019.
