Picture in Time: Tyne and Wear Metro 4075

In this latest edition of Picture in Time we are again looking at a Metro Car seen during the 30th anniversary Open Day at South Gosforth Depot.

The Metro Car in this view is 4075 which is in the outside sidings not required for service on 9th August 2010. This is another of the trains at this time not to be carrying one of the fleet livery styles but was in an advertising livery for Tyne and Wear local services – councils, health service, fire service, police and Nexus – with various images of individuals who brought those services to the local community.
