Picture in Time: Great Orme Tramway 4

We head to the year 2000 for this week’s traditional tram archive image with another visit to the Great Orme Tramway in Llandudno.

We are again on the lower section of the unique 3’6” gauge tramway and we see no. 4 on the descent from Halfway to Victoria Station, the “town centre” terminus of the line (albeit one quite some distance from the actual town centre but it is as close as it gets!). 4 is in the easily recognisable standard livery style with lining applied during the 1990s.

Photograph was taken on 13th July 2000.
