September Review – Blackpool: No. 13 – Blackpool & Fleetwood Box 40

Although still part of the national collection, Box 40 is a tram which has been a more or less permanent member of the tram fleet in Blackpool for many years (save for a short return “visit” to Crich) and also proves to be very popular whenever it does run.

In this first view we see Box 40 approaching Bispham on 22nd September with a service which will head to the loop at Little Bispham and then return south once more.

Same day but this time we have moved slightly south to Cabin as 40 is caught heading away from the camera south with a service to Pleasure Beach. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
