Manx Electric Railway 125th Anniversary: Day 8 – Saturday 8th September

And so we reach the end of an eight day spectacular on the Isle of Man with the final day of the MER 125th Anniversary events. The final day will see both unusual and colourful combinations in service whilst the evening will see a the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway joining in with a small cavalcade. Good Trams Photography Tour

Using Car 19, open wagon 10 and mail van 4 replicating pre First World War goods workings. Departs Derby Castle 0920 and should be back by 1215.

Colourful Combination Photography Tour

Using green liveried Winter Saloon 21 and umbrella trailer 51, recently repainted in pre First World War livery. Departs Derby Castle at 1320, returning to Derby Castle by 1715.

Horse Tram Evening Run and Cavalcade

Will start after the last trams arrive into Derby Castle at 1830.
