Around the World in 18 Trams: Boston 3680

From Europe to the United States of America for our tour of world trams. The system we are looking at today is that in Boston.

This photo shows Boston 3680 on 19th May 2005 having just arrived at the route C terminus of Cleveland Circle. 3680 is one of 100 trams built between 1986 and 1988 by Kinki-Sharyo of which 91 remain active on Boston’s Green Line, which includes the oldest tunnel sections in America dating from 1897.
