Aprille Jones, Nottingham’s latest Nurse of the Year, has unveiled her name on the side of Citadis 220 in a ceremony at Wilkinson Street Depot. Aprille works in theatres recovery at the Queens Medical Centre and received the most public votes in the 2016 Nurse and Midwife of the Year Award of which Nottingham Express Transit is a sponsor.
220 previously carried the name of the previous winner of the award, Kim Helm, and will now proudly carry Aprille Jones’ name for the next 12 months. Jamie Swift, NET’s Head of Marketing, commented: “Over the past year Kim’s name has been on the side of the tram we’ve reserved for this very special award. Now Aprille will take pride of place and provide a constant reminder of the outstanding professionalism of local nurses.”
In other tram news from Nottingham Incentro 207 has now lost its all over advert for PayPoint. With the advertising vinyls the tram has been noted running in the livery it had received before this advert was applied – Purple and White.
