In Pictures: More Citadis trams enter service on Nottingham Express Transit

Up until recently the only Citadis trams to have carried passengers on the original Phase One sections of Nottingham Express were 216-221 but over the past few days further examples have entered service ahead of the opening of the extensions later this summer. On Wednesday 20th May 222, 224, 225 and 226 were all in service as these photos provided by Bob Gell show.

In other news on the Citadis fleet not previously reported is the naming of 219 Alan Sillitoe a few months ago whilst 216 is set to be renamed Kim Helm following the recent Nurse of the Year Awards.

224 leaves Old Market Square with a service for Hucknall.

225 at Old Market Square.

Another view at Old Market Square, this time we see 226. (All Photographs by Bob Gell, 20th May 2015)
