24 hour charity Tramathon to take place at Seaton

Trams will run on the Seaton Tramway for 24 hours non-stop as part of a charity Tramathon on Wednesday 27th May. Starting at 1300 on Wednesday 27th May a special tram will depart the Seaton terminus for Colyton on the hour every hour until 1200 on Thursday 28th May; all in aid of charity.

The proceeds from the Tramathon will be split between four charities: Epilepsy Research UK, Cancer Research UK, Prostrate Cancer UK and Marie Cancer Care. During normal tramway operating hours the standard fare structure will be in place but during the evening, overnight and early morning period special tickets will be available costing just £5 return. As well as raising money for charity this will also provide a unique opportunity to ride along the Axe Estuary in the dark, see the sunset and the sunrise.
