More Illumination Tours in Blackpool

For the second time since Illumination Tours started running again in October 2025, Blackpool Transport have announced that there will be further tours with the Frigate on Fridays and Saturdays throughout December and early January (except for 26^th and 27^th December).

The additional tours will run on:

Friday 5^th & Saturday 6^th December

Friday 12^th & Saturday 13^th December

Friday 19^th & Saturday 20^th December

Friday 2^nd & Saturday 3^rd January 2026

There will be three tours each night departing at 1730, 1900 and 2030. Tickets remain priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children and still included unlimited travel on Blackpool’s modern trams for the same the day.

As usual the Illumination Tours will depart from Pleasure Beach and go north to Little Bispham where after a trundle around the tram comes back south with a request stop at North Pier and Tower for those who want to take a look around the Christmas by the Sea event on the Tower Headland before it terminates back at Pleasure Beach.
