England and Manchester United footballer Ella Toone will be lending her voice to Bee Network tram announcements over the next few days, ahead of Manchester United’s women’s team match against Paris St Germain on Wednesday 12th November 2025.
Her voice will be heard through special announcements on platforms across the Metrolink network urging people to get off at either Wharfside or Old Trafford for the match and to use contactless tap and go for an easy journey.
Fran Wilkinson, TfGM’s Director of Customer and Growth, said: “With Manchester United welcoming fellow European giants PSG to Old Trafford on Wednesday it’s brilliant to have one of Greater Manchester’s very own European champions lending a hand to help people get to the game.

The announcements went live on 7th November and will be heard until the match.
