Its almost time for the autumn rugby union internationals taking place at Murrayfield Stadium, and as usual that means extra trams will be running on the tram network with it being the easiest way to get to the game!
The Quilter Nations will see Scotland involved in four matches taking place at Murrayfield on consecutive weekends, starting off with a game against USA on Saturday 1st November (1740 kick-off). Then Saturday 8th November sees New Zealand (1510 kick-off) the opponents, Sunday 16th November is Australia (1510 kick-off) and finally Tonga will visit on Sunday 23rd November (1340 kick-off).
Sarah Singh, Head of Service Delivery at Edinburgh Trams, said: “With a stop right outside the stadium, our trams offer the easiest way for supporters to avoid getting stuck in traffic and expensive parking. With a range of ticket options available for supporters visiting for the day or planning to extend their stay in the city, taking the tram delivers excellent value for money. For those travelling from further afield, there’s plenty of free parking at our Ingliston Park & Ride facility.”
Additional tram service will be running before and after each match, and tickets can be purchased in advance with Adult, Child and Family Day Tripper tickets all available to save on tram travel.
