In Pictures: Edinburgh Trams 254 goes upmarket with Harvey Nichols advert

Edinburgh Trams 254 has returned to service carrying a new full wrap following the end of another short-term contract for Rabbie’s Tours. It has now gone all upmarket with a wrap for Harvey Nichols, vinyls which were applied to the tram in early September 2025.

This new advert is a full wrap (excluding the ends) but its one of those designs where you’re not quite sure that is the case as the background is white to match the standard fleet livery of Edinburgh Trams. As is normal with adverts in Edinburgh the third and fifth sections of the tram have adverts covering the windows, whilst the rest leaves the windows clear.

254 is a tram which hasn’t had a great deal of variety in adverts since it received its first in June 2018. That was for Parabola Edinburgh Park and this was then replaced in October 2020 for a design for just Edinburgh Park. August 2023 then saw another change as The Famous Grouse Spirit of Rugby started to advertise on the tram. That was a two year deal and then in August 2025 it was time for the first full wrap for Rabbie’s Tours. But that would turn out to be its shorted lived advert as we’re in September and its time for Harvey Nichols to advertise on 254 now.
