Crich set to be invaded by dinosaurs!

If you head to the Crich Tramway Village on Saturday 19th July 2025 don’t be alarmed if you see some strange creatures around the place as its their annual Dinosaur Day! This event has proved to be popular for the last three years and for 2025 even more dinosaurs will be making the trip to the Derbyshire countryside.

There will be herbivore babies, the Emily Bronty Show, Perry the Parasaurolophus, Meg the Stegosaurus Show, predator babies, Bash the Stygimoloch, and a T-Rex show. Visitors to the museum will be able to head onto the Woodland Walk for a Dinosaur Trail where they can earn a sticker.

Candi Bell, Event Manager, said: “Dinosaur Day at Crich is always popular with families, and this year it will be bigger and more rawsome than ever plus, the event is included for those with return tickets.”

As with all events trams will continue to run amongst the dinosaurs as well as all the usual museum attractions such as the tram depots and exhibitions.
