They’re back! Full services resume on Stagecoach Supertram

After 127 days of disruption services on Stagecoach Supertram have returned to normal following the completion of the first phase of major track replacement work on Park Grange Road. The first through passenger trams between the city centre and Halfway recommenced from the start of service on Monday 4th November bringing to an end the closure between Sheffield Station and Spring Lane and at the same time the resumption of the Purple route which hadn’t run since Saturday 29th June before the closure.

To mark the occasion Supertram have launched a special promotion offering a discount on the Tram and Bus Weekly Megarider. Instead of the usual £13.50 this will cost only £11.50 between 4th November and 8th December and can be purchased on board any Stagecoach bus or tram. In addition from Monday 11th November  Stagecoach are launching a £1 single ticket for students travelling after 2000 and will continue to offer a Child Megarider ticket  for £7 which gives seven days travel for the price of five.
