Fleetwood Tram Sunday returns this year and will be taking place on Sunday 21st July. Whilst the event is not the tram centric event that it once was, since the tramway upgrade Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours have usually run a special service to the event and 2024 will be no different with a four tram hop-on, hop-off timetable set to run throughout the day.
It is planned that as well as trams running between Blackpool (mainly Pleasure Beach) and Fisherman’s Walk in Fleetwood (Ash Street in old money) to help get people to the event there will also be special mini tours operating from Fisherman’s Walk to Rossall Beach. The Mini Tours should be operated using Boat 227 (subject to the usual caveats, especially weather!) and this tram is also due to run from North Pier to Fleetwood at 1045 and then returns from Fisherman’s Walk to Pleasure Beach at 1655.
As well as the four tram hop-on, hop-off timetable advertised to be running to and from Fleetwood there should also be Mini Prom Tours in Blackpool with further details of these timings to follow in due course.
On Sunday 21st July the following trams are scheduled to run on the timetabled service:

B – Balloon 700
C – Bolton 66
D – Boat 227
