Out and About: Edinburgh Trams – Princes Street

Its another of the many advertising liveries to have been done seen in recent times on Edinburgh Trams which is featured in this edition of “Out and About”.

OVO Energy took out a contract for four full vinyl wraps in October 2023 with four trams receiving identical ads for the energy company. One of those was 272 which is seen here on Princes Street as it approaches the tramstop of the same name. The tram is heading off to the Airport. The tram has since lost these vinyls. 1. Frank Bagshaw says:

Tram in green reminds me of Sheffield’s colour trials around 1952 on buses and trams. A very unpopular colour and they soon returned to cream with blue albeit with adverts between decks.
