An early 2024 visit to Beamish for this edition of “Out and About”.
In the winter period at Beamish the chance are if you visit the tramway is going to see one of the enclosed trams running – considering they are more “season appropriate”! One of those trams is Sunderland 16 which is, of course, fully enclosed except for on the driver platforms with the entrance/exit being open to the elements.
