Edinburgh Trams 273 has obviously got a taste for Heverlee Lager as having advertised the beverage since October 2021 it has now received new adverts – for the same firm in a revised design. In fact 273 loves a bit of alcohol having previously advertised the Johnnie Walker Join the Pact campaign – which are its only two previous adverts!
The original Heverelee Lager advert had been on the tram since October 2021 and featured a white background to the vinyls. The new design is a dark blue background and as is normal with the majority of Edinburgh Trams adverts it includes two full height vinyls on sections three and five which this features two very large glasses of Heverlee Lager!
This new advert was first seen at the end of June 2023.
The history of adverts on 273 is a fairly simple affair (simpler than most others in the fleet except for those which have just advertised CR Smith and 274 in fact!). Starting off in February 2018 with an advert for Johnnie Walk #jointthepact which was then replaced by the first Heverlee Lager one in October 2021.
273 makes the call at St Andrew Square when running a service to the Airport. This shows the full advert on the tram.
