NET to offer reduced travel for students

Any students in Nottingham who regularly travel on the trams are set to enjoy even cheaper travel with a 6 month tram pass being reduced to £150 at three student events taking place over the coming week.

Between 23rd January and 28th February anyone purchasing a Student pass will be able to get it for just £170 (instead of £220) and anyone who attends a student event taking place in late January/early February will be able to get a further £20 reduction by getting a one time code – meaning it will cost just £150 for a full 6 months unlimited travel.

Alison Sweeney, Head of Marketing for NET, said: “The tram is already the safest, quickest, and most affordable way to study, shop and socialise in Nottingham. With this new deal, students can travel for around 80 pence per day for the next six months and make the most of everything Nottingham has to offer. This £150 deal will only be available at three key events, so we urge all students to come to the NET stand, grab a great deal as well as the chance to win some money can’t buy prizes.”

NET will be attending the following events:

  • 30th January – Refreshers @ University of Nottingham
  • 31st January – Refreshers @ Nottingham Trent University
  • 6th February – Ice hockey varsity game between University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University at the Motorpoint Arena

NET will also be offering students the chance to win hundreds of prizes plus free merchandise.
