Ride the Dinosaur Train at the Seaton Tramway

Children are going to have the chance to ride on the Dinosaur Train at the Seaton Tramway from Friday 26 July for the first time in the UK as the stars of the animated TV series from The Jim Henson Company make regular appearances throughout the summer. The Dinosaur Train will depart from Seaton Terminus every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Friday 26 July until Sunday 8 September with booking now open to make sure you have your place.

It is planned that the adventure will begin at Seaton where a double deck tram (enclosed trams will be used if it is raining) will take participants to the Nature Trackers’ Adventure Area at Colyton Station. Along the way there will be lots of music and stories from the hit show – which is shown on Nick Jr – and children will receive their Nature Trackers’ Club Guidebook. Once at Colyton there will be a Dinosaur Dig, Fossil Excavation site, Dino Footprint Tracking, Dinosaur Activity area with loads of dinosaur exhibits to touch and draw, temporary tattoos and a bouncy castle. Once all this fun has been had passengers will be transported back to Seaton by tram.

Tickets cost £19.95 for adults, £14.95 for children aged 2-15 and under 2s go free. A family ticket is available for £54.85 which covers 2 adults and 2 children. Three trips depart Seaton each day at 1100, 1240 and 1400 (so if the above sounds like your idea of hell you now know which times to avoid on these dates!)
