The semi-regular deliveries of new trams for Manchester Metrolink is continuing with Saturday 26th June seeing 3127 arriving from Germany.
3127 was delivered to Queens Road Depot in the standard Saturday morning slot. It made the trip across from Germany, entering the UK at Hull before it was driven across to Manchester. It will now undergo the usual commissioning process.
As a reminder there are 27 trams on order as part of this batch (taking the fleet up to 147 M5000s). So far we have seen seven arrive so by our reckoning that means there should be another 20 to come! Of those already arrived 3121–3125 are already in service with 3126 continuing to be commissioned for service.
