Once again we are on the way to Sheffield for another edition of our photographic series “Lockdown Walks”.
Shortly after the stop at Hillsborough the tramway splits with Yellow route trams continuing along Middlewood Road through to Middlewood while those on the Blue route turn off onto Holme Lane and then run the relatively short distance to Malin Bridge which is the only stop on this short branch. Both lines opened to passengers on 23rd October 1995.
121 is just curving round onto Holme Lane as it heads on the Blue route to Malin Bridge. (Photograph by Stuart Cooke, 20th March 2021)
